How long is news delayed?
Dow Jones Commodity News is delayed one hour.
I click on a headline and nothing happens. Why?
There could be a few reasons for this:
If the headline is NOT underlined, this means the story is not yet available on the
datastream. Wait a few seconds and try refreshing your page.
When you click on a headline, the story is sent to the story window. Some browsers
automatically "pop" a window with a new page to the front, but other browsers don't.
Your story window may be opening behind your headline window.
Why can I see yesterday's petroleum prices, but not those from the day before? Why can't I see last week's Bullish Consensus Report?
Some news suppliers do not allow us to archive their stories indefinitely. In particular, stories about petroleum prices, natural gas prices, and the Market Vane Bullish Consensus report expire 24 hours after their release. You have to read them before they expire or they're gone forever. Unfortunately, these stories expire before they've been delayed long enough to be free. You can see them if you look when they're at least 8 hours old but not more than 24 hours old.
